A number of years ago, RAI, the Italian Television Network, produced a half hour program entitled, “The Conclave in History.” While the narration is in Italian, subtitles are provided. The historical footage alone makes it worth watching as, during this Sede Vacante, we prepare for the date of the opening of the Conclave to be announced by the General Congregation of the College of Cardinals.
